I was at a standstill it seems I had no one to trust and nowhere to be I had lost my way in my broken dreams And all that I loved had been taken from me so I Led a life of dissatisfaction With broken heart and no self esteem I was a reckless mess of aggressive reactions And I pushed you all away from me I was a walking disaster But somehow I knew that I was getting so close To finding the one thing that matters So I never gave up and now I know that I was a walking disaster (But together we can be something more than dreamers) I’ll fight until I get what I’m after Get ready, I’m starting all over I made a series of bad decisions Followed by multiple overreactions So they’ve stopped caring a long time ago But I guess it’s good ‘cause I don’t anymore I’ve found what I need to be perfectly happy And there’s no way in hell that you can take it from me Just watch as we set out to conquer the world And show you what we’re really worth (‘Cause together we can be something more than) I was a walking disaster But somehow I knew that I was getting so close To finding the one thing that matters So I never gave up and now I know that I was a walking disaster (But together we can be something more than just dreamers) We’ll fight until we get what we’re after Get ready, this is our takeover

So rally your troops, boy You’re due for a change It’s been a long time coming And now it’s time for better days Oh! The future awaits So what are you made of? Now don’t let me down It’s been a long time coming And now it’s time to find your way Oh! This is your fate ‘Cause all your pain and sorrow Will be resolved and no more Than fuel for a better tomorrow Where you can finally feel alive And all your tears and worries Will vanish as you savor your victory And learning from the worst of all your memories You’ll walk away and finally see You’ve found a way to survive I see you’ve rallied your troops boy Now you get a chance It’s been a long time coming Now go and fight for your better days Oh! The future awaits So tell me what are you made of? You better not let me down It’s been a long time coming So now it’s time to find your way Oh! This is your fate ‘Cause all the pain and sorrow Will be resolved and no more Than fuel for a better tomorrow And all your tears and worries Will vanish as you savor your victory And learning from the worst of your memories You’ll walk away From the worst part of your life And towards your better days Yeah you’ll walk away From the worst part of your life And towards your better days The future awaits

We've had our differences you know But this was quite unexpected You left my world with perfect timing And all that's left of you is nothing I told myself that you’d be back before I sold my soul in order to get you home Who knows Why you left and where you’ve been But I can say for certain That I don’t want to know I don’t want to know (I don’t want to know) What you did out there I swear don’t tell me how (how) ‘Cause I know you’re back And it’s all that matters now I started to lose faith after Not hearing about you for a year But I got a letter from you that said I love you forever and I won’t be staying here But I told myself that you’d be back before I sold my soul to get you back at home Who knows Why you left and where you’ve been But I can say for certain That I don’t want to know I don’t want to know (I don’t want to know) What you did out there I swear don’t tell me how (how) ‘Cause I know you’re back And it’s all that matters now

I always knew That this day would come sooner or later But not so soon Maybe this is just about making us stronger But you’re turning your head From one side to the other Saying the words that will change us forever And I watch it all burn With watery eyes ‘Cause his is one thing I just can’t deny And now the simple fact that you and me Know that we will never be Hit so many times that it hurts It feels like the weight of the world On my shoulders I’m trying too hard And thinking too much I don’t know what’s gotten into me But somehow I want to believe You’ve got me tangled in a web of illusions of love From which I don’t ever want to break free Because make belief might be the one thing I get ‘Til you move on and lose sight of me All the late nights we spent When no one else existed Just you and I looking in each other’s eyes Well those times are wasted ‘Cause this is the end Whatever was left of our love has died And the simple fact that you and me Know that we will never be Hit so many times that it hurts It feels like the weight of the world On my shoulders

Crash & Burn 04:42
Well, you made it boy You managed to mess it up so bad You wanted to play the game But you lost everything you had And as they'll look down on you You know they'll find what they're looking for A boy in guilt who would've been forgiven Had he only told the truth You made it by lying your way through The dirty mess you left behind Figured it would work itself out And you'd never have to tell the truth But one day The truth will make its big return And one way Or another you deserve to crash and burn Hell, you made it boy You managed to mess shit up so bad You wanted to play the game But you lost everything you had 'Cause one day The truth did make its big return And one way Or another you deserved to crash and burn One way or another you deserved to crash and... There you have it, girl. I said it all and made it hurt So you can hate me now 'Cause I deserve to crash and burn

Every now and then I’d hear you say That you just couldn’t stand being by my side You needed the spotlight and I was in your way You were never happy after everything I tried Leaving through the back door Not getting what you asked for (But you know that what we have in store Is our way to make it and the pain is worth it) Taking all your goodbyes With my eyes on the first prize (The only way to the top of the world Is to brace yourself for war) There’s no denying That we’ve been doubting Reasons why we came to you in the first place I know you’re trying But we’re not buying The time has come to leave us and find your own way We thought that you were one of us But it seems we were fooled ‘cause now you’re walking away We though we gave you everything you wanted But now your leaving with nothing left to say That’s why you’re leaving through the back door Not getting what you asked for (You know that what we have in store Is our way to make it and pain is worth it) Taking all your goodbyes With my eyes on the first prize (The only way to the top of the world Is to brace yourself for war) CHORUS So stop pretending like you’re one of us You’re not one of us Leaving through the back door Not getting what you asked for You know that what we have in store Is our way to make it and pain is worth it To hell with all your goodbyes Got my hands on the first prize The only way to the top of the world Is to brace yourself, is to brace yourself for war CHORUS That’s why you’re leaving through the back door You’re not one of us

Way Too Easy 03:41
I tried to stay But I just couldn’t help it I had to run away I felt trapped in a cage And turning insane Now she’s convinced I took advantage of her And that I left as soon as the party was over I don’t see her around here anymore But if I did she’d want me to know You got exactly what you wanted from me And now you’re letting go When did you make up your mind That’s one thing I want to know Now that you’ve wasted my time I bet it was way to easy for you to say Once you had made up your mind That’s one thing she wants to know Now that I’ve left her behind behind The truth is she’s not that wrong I tend to get bored after two to three sons I don’t see her around here anymore But if I did she’d want me to know You got exactly what you wanted from me And now you’re letting go When did you make up your mind That’s one thing I want to know Now that you’ve wasted my time I bet it was way to easy for you to say Once you had made up your mind That’s one thing she wants to know Now that I’ve left her behind behind But she has always known It’s been clear from the beginning She just had it coming

No looking back now It’s way too late to change our minds And bridges are burning down There’s nothing good for us In what we leave behind We won’t be missed won’t even be remembered It’s not about erasing Anything we’ve written It’s not about regret or denial This is about Writing a whole new chapter To the story of how we made it out alive ‘Cause we’ll make it out alive And we’ll run away Because this town just can’t be where we belong Yet we know that one day we will find a place Hell, what do we know we might be wrong But we’ll make sure to find out for ourselves I remember the look on their faces Jaded and full of hatred As if we weren’t supposed to be (As if we weren’t supposed to be) So now it’s you and me (you and me) And we’ll never be like them so let’s find a Place where we won’t have to be afraid CHORUS It’s you and me against the world You and me against the world (‘Cause this town just can’t be where we belong) It’s you and me against the world You and me against the world And we’ll make it if you hold on to me CHORUS
9.
Sometimes I wonder If we still share the same memories We used to be brothers Now you can’t stand the sight of me Tell me what the hell could’ve happened You’re not the way you used to be I just tried to do my best But would’t didn’t listen to a single word I’d say So you go on (you go on) Pretending like nothing bad’s gonna happen But we all know (we all know) That your backstabbing tools are sharpened So tell me what the hell could’ve happened Is your heart filled with jealousy Are you waiting for the perfect moment To tell me off and watch me burn revengefully So please next time we meet You better lay your armour down I’ll get back on my feet But I’ll need precious time to think And next time we talk You better watch your mouth I know that you were looking for some peace of mind But it didn’t have to be so I’ve tried to be your best friend Yeah I always had your back But on you I can’t depend Now that our friendship has gone bad So tell me what the hell could’ve happened That made you turn your back on me All your promises are wasted And I’ll never believe your stupid forgeries

Big Mistake 04:29
What a big mistake To have left your friends for good How do you expect to make it Without any of us to around you It was a misunderstanding To think we understood The lies that lied deep within your soul To think it was the truth What a big mistake To have left this in your hands But how could I’ve predicted That this was the way you had it planned I don’t know what you were thinking But we will make it through I hope you hadn’t imagined That we wouldn’t be fine without you Whatever I said Whatever I promised No matter how many times I said I loved you Whatever I said Whatever I promised Whatever word I gave It'll never be the same What a big mistake To have left your friends for good How do you expect to make it Without any of us around you (you won't have any of us around you) What a big mistake (It'll never be the same) What a big mistake (Without any of us around you)

about

After releasing our EP in 2011, we thought it was time to start working on a full-length album. We had already written more than half of the material that we thought would make it on the album and we were already playing most of that material live.

We took a break in Fall 2011 to start rehearsing for the studio, and in February 2012, we started recording. After four months of recording and countless sleepless nights of mixing and mastering, we were done! 'Where We Belong' was complete! The album is filled with messages of hope, unity, strength and love and is mostly about finding yourself as a person, finding something to believe in and making your way through life even though you can sometimes make mistakes, lose someone you love or hate or say or do the wrong things!

We wanted this album to sound like us, not like computers and not like every other Modern Rock album out there. We were highly influenced by the Foo Fighters' last album 'Wasting Light' and their mentality when producing this record. We think way too many albums sound too much alike. If there are any real drums, they're triggered, the guitars are processed, the vocals are extremely auto-tuned... We love the styles of music that use these techniques, but we quickly realized that it's just not who we are. We wanted the album to sound organic, real and true to what we sound like live: a really loud three-guitar rock band made up of five young men playing their asses off! Sure, the album was recorded on a computer, some of the back vocals are enhanced with pitch adjustment and some of the drums are quantized, but we didn't really go too far in editing. We're not perfect, music isn't perfect, neither is the album and we love it that way.
